Brett Williams is a play-by-play commentator whose enthusiasm for his craft is matched only by a passion for touching the lives of his audience. He believes that sports have the power to unite communities—and that as a broadcaster, he is uniquely positioned to help bring that about.

Brett is currently the voice of women's sports at Western Kentucky University,

serving as the women's basketball and volleyball radio broadcaster for Learfield

as well as the TV broadcaster for volleyball, soccer, and softball on the Hilltopper Sports Satellite Network. He also calls games on a freelance basis for several other outlets. Among his outside roles, he provides play-by-play for Mid-South Conference (NAIA) championships in several sports and for high-school football in south central Kentucky. He was previously one of two broadcasters covering all sports at

Queens University of Charlotte (NCAA Division II) and a secondary play-by-play commentator for the Sugar Land Skeeters, then of independent baseball.

A 2017 summa cum laude graduate of the University of South Carolina, Brett earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism with a minor in sport and entertainment management. While at South Carolina, he served as the online voice of the university's club hockey team and as one of the commentators for high-school football, basketball, and baseball on local radio station WPUB-FM (Camden, SC).

With more than 500 calls already under his belt, Brett has his sights set on developing a long, fruitful career in the business—one rich in stories and moments that matter.
